These terms apply whenever you place an order with Bake It Up through this website. By submitting an order, you agree to the terms below.

1. How Ordering Works

1. You submit your order request through the website, choosing either delivery or pickup.
2. We review your request and reply by email confirming the ready time and the cost of your order.
3. If you have chosen delivery, we send a second email adding the delivery fee, charged by our courier partner, Courier Guy, based on your location.
4. Your order is only confirmed once we have replied and you have agreed to the price and time. Submitting the form is a request, not a guaranteed booking.

2. Pricing & Payment

Prices are confirmed by email after we review your order, as ingredient and preparation costs can vary depending on the items requested. Payment details and method will be shared with you by email once your order is confirmed. Orders are only prepared once payment has been received, unless we've agreed otherwise with you directly.

3. Delivery

Deliveries are handled by our courier partner, Courier Guy. The delivery fee is calculated separately from your order total and communicated in the second confirmation email. Once your order has been handed to Courier Guy, delivery times and handling are subject to their service — Bake It Up is not responsible for delays or issues that occur once the order is in the courier's care, though we are happy to help you follow up if something goes wrong.

4. Pickup

If you choose pickup, your order will be ready at the time confirmed in our email. Please try to collect at the agreed time, as baked goods are best enjoyed fresh.

5. Order Changes & Cancellations

If you need to change or cancel your order, contact us as soon as possible. Because items are baked to order, we may not be able to accommodate changes or cancellations made close to the ready/delivery time, and payment already made for items already in progress may not be refundable.

6. Allergies & Ingredients

Our products are baked in a kitchen that handles common allergens (including gluten, dairy, eggs, and nuts). If you have any allergies or dietary requirements, please let us know when placing your order ,we will do our best to accommodate you, but we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

7. Order Accuracy

Please double-check your order details (items, quantities, date, and address) before submitting. We prepare orders based on the information provided, so it is your responsibility to make sure it is correct.

8. Limitation of Liability

Bake It Up will take reasonable care in preparing and packaging your order. We aren't liable for issues arising after the order has left our care (including during courier delivery), or for damage caused by improper storage after delivery or pickup.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
